SIX! Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss are the genius minds behind the music, book, and lyrics that bring the stories of Henry VIII’s six wives to life. Picture this: a pop concert format where each wife ( Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anna of Cleves, Katherine Howard, and Catherine Parr) spills the tea on their lives to figure out who had it worst with their common husband.
This awesomeness started at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2017, where Cambridge University students rocked the stage. Then “SIX” hit the West End at the Arts Theatre in January 2019 and went on a successful UK tour. It hopped across the pond, making its North American debut in May 2019 and landed on Broadway in February 2020. After a little break thanks to COVID-19, it came back strong, officially reopening at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre on 3 October 2021.
Now, it’s currently on tour across North America! Get ready to meet the six wives of Henry VIII as they determine who had it the worst. It’s a hilarious and upbeat show that will leave you asking for more!

In a review from Broadway World, the writer described their unforgettable experience at SIX. They said, “SIX is the best concert on Broadway. Imagine the Schuyler Sisters getting their own reality TV musical and hosting a toe-tapping feel-good party. That’s SIX. And with a ton of liberties, it covers the history… sorry, the remixed “herstory” of the six wives of Henry the VIII. SIX was the last of five Broadway shows I saw with my mom, and I’m glad I saved until the end. It was a perfect way to “Get Down” and sing/dance with a group of strangers. Unlike other Broadway musicals, there’s no intermission. It’s eighty minutes of non-stop music that will have you partying with the delightful “Ex-Wives.” Since SIX isn’t known by people outside of the musical theatre scene, I’m trying to think of the perfect pitch to get everyone to see it. Imagine seeing a diverse all girl concert with shades of Spice Girls, Destiny’s Child, Adele, TLC, and En Vogue. That’s SIX, but on Broadway. And yes, it’s enough to make you worry that you “Don’t Lose Ur Head.” If you are going to Broadway this year, “All You (should) Wanna Do” is see SIX. Unless you have a “Heart of Stone” and you don’t enjoy musical theatre.”
“The most uplifting new British musical I have ever had the privilege to watch.” – Evening Standard
